Accountant II

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Review AP, GL and expense reports for proper coding and adherence to HQ policy;
  • Maintain fixed asset/depreciation and prepaid schedules in ERP system;
  • Perform or review monthly bank and credit card reconciliation;
  • Work as backup in managing revenue cycle, including accounts receivable, credit control and collection;
  • Perform 5 days month-end close activities, such as reconcile general ledger accounts, COGS allocation/inventory reports and closing package to HQ;
  • Support accounting team’s commitment to timely and accurate in accordance with US GAAP and internal controls;
  • Assist in system implementation and enhancing accounting procedures;
  • Assist in quarter/annual audit, year-end 1099/1096 and income tax documents preparation;
  • Other Ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.

What do we need?

  • Bachelor degree in accounting or finance preferred;
  • At least 2-3 years general ledger, monthly closing or public traded company experience;
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and all 5 accounting cycles – revenue, expenditure, conversion, financing and fixed asset;
  • Experience with ERP system, QuickBooks, or expense system, Concur;
  • Well organization, attention to detail and strong problem solving skills with “roll up sleeve to get things done” attitude;
  • Team player and have ability to work independently with flexible hours to meet deadlines;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout company and external customers;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (v-lookup and pivot table), Word, Outlook and PowerPoint;

Project Development Manager (Renesola Energy Minnesota)

  • Close PPA and turnkey EPC contracts for solar projects typically ranging in size from 5MW +;
  • Develop projects from inception to executed contract;
  • Generate proposals, quotes, and formal RFP responses;
  • Analyze impact of changing regulatory environment and adjust strategy as necessary;
  • Work independently and with senior management to develop and execute strategic plans to win identified opportunities;

ReneSola is seeking an experienced, competent and diligent candidate who can support the team in the technical supervision of works during the construction of multiple large-scale ground mounted solar PV projects. The candidate will work closely with the relevant Project Managers, the Compliance Manager, and the Team of ReneSola Engineering International. During the delivery of our PV projects the candidate will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting and documenting, and accepting performed works on site;
  • Controlling contractor’s adherence to technical requirements;
  • Agreeing and approving variations;
  • Supporting the negotiation of technical schedules for EPC, EPC-M, and O&M contracts;
  • Supporting project managers in their formal communication with contract parties.



  • Qualified Electrical Engineering with P.Eng or equivalent with 5 years’ experience;
  • 3 years’ experience in constructing or auditing solar PV projects;
  • Detailed understanding of components in use (including equipment parts for low voltage and high voltage connections, earthing, mounting structures, monitoring systems, security systems, fencing, and civil works);
  • Detailed knowledge of applicable American standards, codes, and industry practices;
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite;
  • Ability to work independently.

Preference will be given to Candidates with experience in:

  • Construction as Project Engineer, Site Manager, or Project Manager ;
  • High voltage connections;

  • Development of detailed scope documents for bid process.
  • Preparation and management of a comprehensive bid process.

  • Negotiation and optimization of work scope and costs.
  • Collaboration with legal and management teams on contracting terms.

  • Must have experience running a construction bid process including multiple trades (electrical, civil, mechanical).
  • Target contractors in the relevant market.
  • Screen the contractors for credibility (experience, financials, etc).
  • Engage in detailed discussions on work scope to explore cost reduction opportunities.
